The second part of Pokemon Go's holiday update has begun.
Now through January 3, developer Niantic is releasing Bronze, Silver, and Gold boxes into the game; they include things like incense, lure modules, lucky eggs, Poke Balls, and Great Balls. These replace the previous freebies, including Special, Great, and Ultra boxes that were available December 25-30.
Additionally, now until January 8, Pokemon Go's first partner Pokemon and their evolutions will show up more frequently in the game. These Pokemon include Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise. Further, the game's lure modules will run for 60 minutes instead of the normal 30 for the duration of the event (via DualShockers).
