The only software you need is the printer driver software, installing this software is very fundamental but you need to unplug the connection with the computer. This is not a complex process although you have to make sure that your input-output driver if your laptop or desktop motherboard requires any are working properly before installing this soft. Although if there is any problem regarding that it will show an error. If it happens just install all your drivers again is the easiest solution or if you know which driver is the culprit just re-install that.
Note: Please Disconnect the USB cable that connects the and computer or laptop before installing this driver.
