After replacing my Acer Aspire 15 with a new Screen, I have a problem with screen goes blank/black after sleep. The temporary solution was to closing the lid and wait until the indicator light to go off. Then open the lid back again, and pressing any key would get me to the login screen. So after few research I found a solution that worked:
Disable sleep, straight to hibernate.
Sleep mode is the problem that cause the blank screen. Instead of using sleep, just bypass it and have your computer go straight to hibernate.
1. Right click on start and select control panel.
2. Select System and Security - Power Options. Click on Change Plan settings.
3. Select never for all 4 options.
4. To turn on hibernate, open command prompt as admin by right click on start and select command promt(admin).
5. Type
