Actually there are 2 ways to fix this, however the most common method is to edit the registry:
Edit Registry:
1- Open Registry Editor by right click on windows logo and select run. The type in REGEDIT. Press enter.
2 - Browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}\0000\Settings
3. There is a 32bit DWORD entry FLIP. change the value from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0.
(p/s: you might need to restart the cam apps in order to see changes).
This method is well known to fix skype issue.
The Other methods
This method will fix your flip issue with 100% sucees rate. However it is a bit technical because you need to open your laptop Screen and flip the camera.
If you are using windows 8 and below, you can use different drivers by look for you camera hardware ID and install the right driver (the Asus website do metion compatible ID for each driver downloads).
